Volunteers are Welcome!
We love our volunteers! From giving their time in the classroom to planning and coordinating special events to everything in between, our volunteers help make our schools a richer, stronger learning environment. Interested in learning more about how you can make a measurable difference in the lives of our students? Contact: Resource Coordinator, Linda Johnson-Towles.
Silverton Paideia is always looking for volunteers to work with its students. Depending on your interests, skills, and available time, your assistance may be helpful for tutoring, classroom assistance, and chaperoning on field trips. All materials and training is provided. The CPS District, in the interest of safety and security, requires a criminal background check of all volunteers. Volunteer Application and Background Check forms may be downloaded from this website. Instructions are included with these forms.
Contact: Questions about specific volunteer opportunities may be directed to the Silverton Community/Museum Resource Coordinator, Linda Johnson-Towles at (513) 363-5473, or the Volunteer Coordinator, Janet Poole at (513) 363-5444.
The Silverton PTA is an active group of parents who support both in-class learning and out-of-class activities such as the Silverton Annual Brotherhood Chili Cook-Off. If you are interested in playing an active role in your child’s experience at Silverton Paideia, this is a great place to start.
Meeting Time: PTA meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month. Times and dates are posted on the school’s website calendar.
