Cincinnati Public Schools is working with the City of Cincinnati Vision Zero Initiative and the Ohio Department of Transportation to develop a district-wide School Travel Plan. The goal of the plan is to identify strategies for making walking and bicycling to school safer in the City of Cincinnati. The plan will also help Cincinnati Public Schools apply for funding from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Safe Routes to School Program.
While the 2020–2021 school year is not what we expected, transportation safety remains a high priority. We need your assistance once again.
We would like to survey caregiver concerns regarding active transportation to school.
The survey, linked below, should take parents about 15 minutes to complete. The information caregivers provide, combined with information already provided by principals, will help us determine how best to improve safety for students in Cincinnati.
As mentioned in the survey itself, we are looking to address issues that will affect students when schools open completely.
Please complete the survey by November 10, 2020.
